Wow only just seeing this. Oddly I also sold HITI yesterday but to enter SOFI.
If you don’t have a lot of capital, this is necessary as a high conviction, concentrated investor. Most people will never understand that. I sold HITI at a $1500 loss, not because I am bearish on HITI, but because I see more potential in SOFI short to medium term at this valuation. Sometimes these decisions are tough and people rush to judge. Take no notice.
I get it completely. I also want to re-enter HITI but not sure when I will be able to. Also agree on the new risk with HIMS. Most people don’t want to address that. Respect to you
HITI was really a temporary sell due to the low funds I had. I'll re-enter asap with the funds from selling HIMS. Hopefully, I can get an even better price by next week. We shall wait and see.
Sir, if you’ve been following my work, you should know that I’ve been trimming my position in HIMS since the $60s. I didn’t “dump it all at the bottom” — only what was left (and you don’t even know if this is the bottom, hopefully it is tho).
I’ve already justified everything, so I’m not sure what else to tell you. Read the entire article and you’ll see it’s purely a risk management strategy.
I have been following you since less than 5k on x , I have read the article , and know it is risk management, but it's still surprising that you sell hims for dlo, hims has much greater potential and greater execution.
But in the end it's you decision, and I will still follow your work.
I was a little skeptical of that move too, but so far it looks like his choice to move from HIMS to DLO has been fruitful. DLO has gone up considerably since his move. By comparison, HIMS is flat.

Sooo, Nbis is 50% on your portfolio?
No profitability, no fcf+, no ebitda + , high capex, high risk imo
No, it’s not. I never said that.
What are you talking about John
But still you said that you are ready to buy HITI back, but did not say that about hims .
It's just sad and surprising to be honest that you dumped it (all) and in the bottom .
You are one of the few finx ones I trust , but this is just too surprising .

All the best Manuel
Time will tell whether it was a terrible decision or not. Thanks for being here and for your support from the beginning!
